Volunteering
Our Mission at Together We Rise is volunteering, educating youth, and raising awareness about domestic violence and healthy relationships.
Community Development

Serving Children
Spending time with some of the best people in my community. This morning was full of loving children, cleaning, and organizing for the precious souls that will be staying at the local Shelter, Inc. The Lawrence County Shelter has housed exactly 50 women and 39 children in 2019 and most came in with only the clothes they were wearing.
Young Leader of Lawrence County

Making a Difference
Thank you to Mayor Blake Lay for recognizing me with this Young Leadership Award. It is an honor to serve my community anyway that I can. I am grateful to be the first Junior Ambassador for the Lawrence County Domestic Violence Shelter and to have the privilege of working with and getting to know so many of our youth. I am also thankful for all the teachers who have welcomed me into their classroom.
Missions

Children in Guatemala
This week opened my eyes to how blessed we truly are. Thank you Jesus for your endless love and allowing me to be apart of what you are doing here in Guatemala.

October-Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Making a Difference
Let's stop domestic violence through education, creating awareness and wearing purple all month!
Blessing Box

Doing What’s Needed
I drive by this blessing box two or three times a week. I have been watching it very closely for the last several months. It is almost always stocked with supplies and food which is such a testimony to the amazing people I'm surrounded by here in Lawrence County. However, when I drive by this week I could see that the box was needing some attention. I was able to have the blessing to stock this box and pray over anyone in need of food and everyday necessities that we so often take for granted.
Fundraising

Third Annual Partnership Dinner
Over $67,0000 was raised at the Third Annual Partnership Dinner with all proceeds going to the Lawrence County Domestic Violence Shelter Inc. A huge thank you to all that made this night possible. It will significantly change the lives of many!
Serving the Community

Faith Loves Organization
Serving with Faith Loves has been nothing short of amazing. 600 boxes of food were packed and delivered to families in Florence and Lawrenceburg.
Junior Ambassador

The Women's Shelter
I am truly honored to have been recognized as Lawrence County's first Junior Ambassador for the Domestic Violence Shelter. As an ambassador, I have been able to speak in schools, clubs, and organizations using CERTS as the fundamental components in determining a healthy relationship vs unhealthy. Educating our youth on consent, equality, respect, trust, and safety decreases further dating violence by 60%.
